Dr. Mara Chachamidou graduated in Physics Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) in Greece and received an Executive Master in Management of Technology at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne, University of Lausanne in Switzerland and University of Austin in USA. She holds a PhD in Commercialization of Nanotechnology from AUTh.
She is currently working as project officer in the Managing & Implementation Authority for Research, Technological Development and Innovation. She has been appointed as National Delegate in the Horizon Europe Cluster "Digital, Industry and Space", acted as delegate during Horizon 2020 committee configuration for "Nanotechnologies, Advanced materials, Biotechnology, Advanced Manufacturing and Processing" and Alternate Delegate in the High Level Group on Materials. She is the scientific responsible of the Steering Group Platform on “Materials, Construction & Industry” for Smart specialization on the new Programming Period 2021-2027. She has extensive experience and knowledge in project management, National & European Funding Programs, technology transfer and commercialization activities of research results.
