Morning Health talks: «Startups doing Pilots in Hospitals: A how to guide!»

Startups and hospitals that succeeded in collaborating and creating real technology testing pilot programmes or business collaborations will share their experiences and the barriers they had to overcome.

The EIT Health Hub for Greece, coordinated by National Documentation Centre (ΕΚΤ), is organising the Morning Health talk event "Startups doing Pilots in Hospitals: A how to guide!" on 23 May 202, 11:00-13:00 CET (12:00-14:00 EEST, Greek time).

Health transformation with the adaptation of new technologies and the wider adoption of innovations can have multiple benefits for and impact inter alia on the services offered, cost reduction and resource efficiency and patient experience optimisation.

During this workshop we will learn from the experiences of SymbIASIS programme participants, Startups, Hospitals and other relevant health organisations, which is the best way to move forward, plan and strategise in order to achieve an open innovation pilot programme in a real world environment such as a hospital or clinic.

Startups and hospitals that succeeded in collaborating and creating real technology testing pilot programmes or business collaborations will share their experiences and the barriers they had to overcome, the best incentives to choose and we will try to identify the secret recipe  for this elusive collaboration. Other stakeholders such as Innovation support organisations or international health and pharma organisations will give their perspective on hospital innovation and the way forward.

Presentations and discussions will take place in Greek and English. The programme is available here.

The event will end with a moderated discussion panel, where panelists can contribute with their ideas and insights.
