Where and When

The National Documentation Centre (EKT), National Rerpresentative of EIT Health, is organizing a networking and discussion event entitled Morning Health Talks: “Co-Creating Health Innovation Ecosystems: Empowering Providers and Citizens Beyond Financial Incentives”. The event will take place on Monday, 2nd of June 2025, from 09:30 to 12:30 (Greek time), at the EKT premises (Palaio Faliro).
The event aims to foster the collaborative creation of innovative health ecosystems, establishing a framework where various stakeholders—including healthcare professionals, citizens, public and private organizations—co-develop solutions to improve health and healthcare services. It also seeks to empower healthcare providers and citizens by giving them an active role in the decision-making, design, and implementation of innovations, offering incentives that go beyond the financial.
The event is addressed to healthcare professionals, policymakers, researchers, civil society representatives, and technology partners, with the objective of exploring new forms of collaboration and transformation in the health sector that do not rely solely on economic incentives.
Distinguished speakers and participants from Greece and abroad will join to discuss the topic of co-creating innovative health ecosystems. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights, network, and engage in the creation of collaborative schemes within the Greek health ecosystem, drawing on international best practices.
Discussions will also include innovative solutions that contribute to the health innovation ecosystem, successful international practices, and non-financial incentives that can empower both healthcare providers and citizens. Best practices and case studies from EU-funded projects will be presented, alongside exploration of funding opportunities and sustainability strategies, with a focus on alternative approaches to ensuring the long-term development of innovative health solutions.
This is the 1st Morning Health Talks event of 2025 organized by EKT. It forms part of EKT’s initiatives as the National Representative of EIT Health in Greece, supporting innovation in the health sector and playing a catalytic role in fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration.
The presentations and discussions will be held in both English and Greek. The agenda is currently under development.
Participation is by invitation only.
