As co-ordinator of the research project ‘Enhancing the participation of women entrepreneurs’ activities in Horizon 2020 (EMPOWA)’, the National Documentation Centre (EKT) is organising on November the 13th (16:00) the Online Training Seminar for the SME Instrument, "Enhancing Women’s Innovative Enterprises through the SME Instrument – Innovation Management & Funding Challenges".
The goal of the seminar is to support innovative women entrepreneurs in competitively participating in the SME Instrument funding programme and provide useful knowledge about the challenges of doing business in an innovative field.
The National Documentation Centre is co-ordinating partner of Enterprise Europe Network-Hellas, which actively supports innovative businesses in their development, funding and access to new markets through networking with international partners. It offers advanced technological infrastructures and a long experience in European funding, Technology Transfer and Innovation Services. Enterprise Europe Network-Hellas is the Greek node of Enterprise Europe Network, which has 3,000 experts from 600 organisations from more than 60 countries, and provides businesses with integrated services to strengthen their competitiveness through knowledge and innovation. Enterprise Europe Network-Hellas supports the international ambitions of SMEs to innovate and develop within the EU and beyond.
EKT is also National Contact Point for Horizon 2020 and a number of individual programmes supporting the participation of Greek academic, research and business communities in Horizon 2020. It covers all stages of the research project, from preparation of a proposal to implementation and exploitation of research results. EKT’s services include: Information and Advisory Services, Helpdesk, Development and Handling of informational material, Organisation of events and seminars, Partner search for joint ventures and the publication of statistical data and performance indicators.
